I'm not sure where this goes, I found a similar thread but was unable to post, or view the new "moved to" discussion..
I was playing zombies the other day and the sound completely cuts out and starts making a loud, as what I can only describe as like a pixelated sound, just sounds absolutely horrible. Video is still perfect, I just can't hear anything but loud static-y hell, I have to turn the volume down and it never regains until I quit and am back at the xmb. Continued play is not an option because I can't hear anything and usually end up dying from an ambush.
PS3 is playing through HDMI, I checked the sound options everything was unchecked automatically except the two that are greyed and unchangeable. I've stopped mid play and swapped cables, and even took it from my surround and went straight to tv, both with same results.
else experiencing this kind of thing, and is there any solution? I ordered a component cable last night to try, but I'd really like the benefit of HDMI, since I get surround from my receiver...
, what's going on with the connection error and getting kicked randomly, a lot lately, annoying when you've wasted 2 1/2 hours playing a map just to get kicked and no stats saved.
