I need help with the clans

So, I'm having a few troubles with the clan thing.  I've made a clan when the game first came out, but a few days later I joined my friend's clan (without disbanding my clan, somehow).  I showed up on his clan roster, but I couldn't set my clan tag to my clan nor his.
In the actual game, it doesn't say I'm in any clan.
On the app, it shows his clan tag next to my name, and it shows me on the roster.
When I go to "My Clan" on the clan app, it goes to the clan I created.
What should I do?
