I love MW3, I really do, but as an S&D enthusiast – there’s one thing I simply can’t stand: Sitrep-pro, a perk that I believe is overpowered. I have 62,000 kills on S&D, I’m ranked 189 on the leader-boards and Sitrep pro is something that a lot of the community do not like, because it slows the pace of games down, it’s abused my campers, and flanking is almost an impossibility in S&D when the enemy team have Sitrep-pro since they can hear you coming half way across the map – I think that this perk either needs to be dropped in Ghosts or at the very least nerfed, because I won’t be sinking hundreds of hours into a game where I’m punished for running around by people with $100 dollar headsets that can track my every movement. Surely you should not have to spend money on headsets to gain such a huge advantage in the game; it’s unfair and sort of elitist. As it stands Sitrep-pro is easily one of the most overpowered perks in COD, and completely ruins S&D for me, and many of my friends. The developers have made a fast-paced game, and yet very often you’re forced to play slow in S&D, since crouch-walking is the only way to counter Sitrep-pro, it’s silly. If Sitrep-pro negates Dead Silence in Ghosts, my support for Infinity Ward COD games will be considered over. I feel that strongly about it. The developers really need to address this issue.
