I haven't been on here in a few days and I'm on PS3 so I'm pretty much behind on everything zombies so forgive me if I'm repeating anything that's already been said/asked lol
What I DO know though is that A LOT of people are really upset with how things have turned out for BO2 zombies.
A few questions I have:
- What was the deal with the NAV cards? From what I understand... no one has figured out what they were for. I, like many, expected something... hell... ANYTHING to happen once we had them all linked. I guess that's not the case... so why would they even bother putting them in there?
- Why have 2 sides of an EE when it doesn't matter which one you choose to do? I mean...maybe it does matter which one you do, but obviously we haven't seen any relevance in which side you choose.
- WTF is the deal with Origins? Yeah, yeah... I've seen the end cutscene and I think it's a load of crap too, but I really think they just dropped the ball on this one. I'm VERY excited to play the map (when it finally loses its luster and comes out for PS3), but what it all comes down to REALLY sucks. How would this lead up to anything that's happened so far? ...or for that matter lead to anything we haven't seen? Did they really just kill the story like that?
- So what was the point of the N4? They were around for 3 DLC drops and we didn't get any kind of back story on ANYONE until the cutscene for Buried where it started to explain a little bit about Russman....annnnnnd then that was it? Nothing more on any of the other characters? That was IT.
- The Avagadro and Denizens... WTF was all that about?
- Who's working for Treyarch that thought trolling with Flopper was a good idea? They messed with the fans throughout most of the DLC drops, finally brought it into play with Buried as a perma perk...which kinda sucked considering I would rather have it as a perk to buy, and then on Origins (from what I've read) doesn't have anywhere to really use it, nor does it have any weapons that would benefit from its use.
- What's the deal with Samantha? She's no longer German, but Maxis (or whoever calls for her to come down stairs) sounds if they still have a German accent... This really bugs the crap out of me when it probably shouldn't. It's like watching a crappy sequel to a movie where they cast different people playing as returning characters. I find this very cheap... It just screams cheap to me.
- Why would they think it was a good idea to bring back Turned on Buried? It was so awful when it came out the first time that I can't imagine why they would have thought it would be good to have it return. Same thing with Grief... IMO I thought that was a horrible idea. I've never played a game where everyone doesn't quit or it just keeps starting over when you think your team finally wins.
- Why wouldn't they open up the Power Station on Tranzit as a side map? Not like it would be a huge game changer or anything, but I can't figure out why they would open everything up except that one...
- Same deal with Nuketown I guess... Why didn't they open more of the map to play when it's clearly there... Why wouldn't they add more perk machines when there is clearly space for them to fall... It would add better replay value, but whatever... not like we care right?
I don't know... these are just some things I've wondered about for the past few weeks and figured I would see what everyone else thinks.
