Since I've recently become a PM after a long hard journey for an old man with little skill, I've discovered a few things of interest, some negative & some positive.
I no longer feel any need to play in the League series, there's no advantage there at all since all the weapons are already unlocked and the XP is of no use to me. Do I care about a high rank in the league? Not in the least.
Whatever incentive I had for remaining in a match is gone. The only thing keeping me in a match is having fun. If I'm being slaughtered every ten seconds and am not getting any kills myself, what's the point, since there's no XP? This fundamental law applies to objective games as well, the only benefit for a PM is fun and if it ain't fun, then you know the rest of the story. Not to worry though, if I play Dom I will tuff it out to the bitter end of the match
The positive aspect of being PM is that there's no longer any pressure to advance. You can now relax, pick the challenges you'd like to complete and not worry about responsibilities to others.
I have plenty of guns I can make gold, lots of calling cards to try to acquire etc. Still lots to do, no pressure
So, being PM is a good thing, and a bad thing IMHO
