Here is my two pence on a game that I personally have bought.
IT SUCKS.
I'm no good player but how the hell am I getting killed from angles that I covered literally a quarter of a second ago?
Also, I have never been one to call hacks on any one person in almost literally any game, but in Black Ops 2? Oh hell no, I've got to get killed by every single little tryhard ****** in the game at least seven times before I win out, and even then it's because his aim somehow faltered from DIRECTLY POINTED AT MY CHEST CAVITY.
I don't even play stupidly. I've tried playing conservatively and more slowly, I've tried rushing towards people I've tried every bloody thing I can think of to try and improve my game. But no. I still lose to Target Finder LMG's that somehow get shots off earlier than me, SMG **** that are around the corner and have killed me before the first bullet has even left the chamber of my gun and one shot kill Snipers that have pinpoint accuracy at ranges that I should clearly have the advantage in.
This is the first Call of Duty game I've owned and played and I've got to say that it has been a shitty experience so far.
But the game does have some redeeming factors. SOME. By some I mean few and far between. The customisation aspect is something I could see being a particularly nice thing if it wasn't for the fact that some of the options are something to be desired. For example the Target Finder, something I mentioned earlier. Who ever came up with that thing has GOT to win the ******* of the year medal. The Laser shhould not be avilable on SMG's full stop. Their hipfire accuracy is too good already. The list goes on.
The maps are terrible. Everything is small, everything has camp spots and there are headglitch spots EVERYWHERE, and honourable gunfights are often lost for ridiculous reasons such as teammates somehow not realising that walking infront of me screws with my aim.
Before you scream "L0L L2P FaYGeT D0 u eVen K/D RAT10" I do actually. I've got a K/D of somwhere in the reigon of 1.1 or above. How I got that is beyond me.
One last thing. The remaining community after the sudden boycot of the game? That few thousand people you peak at every now and again? They are all *******. Sure occasionally you'll get a GG but the amount of 'easy' comments I see in the chat box...
Jeez this game has bred a whole new species of stuck up pompus *******.
Anyway's, rant over. Excuse me while I make sure to put not preordering Ghosts and every other Call of Duty game that is ever going to be made on my list of things not to do. To do.
I cannot for the life of me play this game. Why? Because I cannot enjoy it. In the end that is what gaming is all about. And this First Person Shooter in particular is falling short in showing me why it is number one in the genre.
Also if tl;dr: basically, Battlefield.
